How to Prepare Your Oil

To keep things quick and clean, store your used oil in a sealed, leak-proof container, such as the original oil jug or a clean plastic container with a tight lid. Please don't mix oil with other fluids like antifreeze, gasoline, brake fluid or solvents, because mixed fluids can't be recycled the same way. Let oil filters drain for several hours before bringing them in.


What We Can't Accept

For safety reasons, we can't accept oil mixed with other fluids, gasoline, solvents, paint, chemicals or leaking containers. [Add quantity limits, e.g., "Up to X gallons per visit."] If you're not sure whether we can take something, give us a call before you come in.
